Props,
hats, personal items, etc. are all encouraged, especially if it makes
your child feel more comfortable.
Please do not get your child's
hair cut the day before the shoot, unless you are 100% certain of
the outcome.
Simple, classic clothing photographs quite nicely,
but quirky, bright clothing can highlight your child's personality.
Make
sure clothing is stain-free and freshly ironed. Try to stay away from
designs which will date the photo,
such as trendy band names, cartoon characters, etc. Infants are best photographed as free from
clothing as possible. Please avoid tight garments prior to the shoot,
as
they can cause marks on the skin when removed.
With teens, the
more comfortable they are, the less likely we are to get frowns. Do
not place your teen in
clothing he/she finds uncomfortable or embarrassing.
Teens today want to project a certain image. We strive
to obtain a
balance between what they want, and what you want to display in your
home.
