I've always seen the world in a slightly different way than others. You can sometimes find me
lying on my back on a forest trail, shooting my camera skyward, taking a photograph of something
others overlook. The world contains so many wonderful, exciting small wonders: The mischevious
grin of a child who is about to do something crazy, the expression on a dog's face as he contemplates
how best to break a rule... It is my goal to capture these tiny moments in time, preserving them forever.
Utilizing creative post processing, I sometimes push reality to the edge.
My work has been used in New York raise money for breast cancer research, for various
other charities, has graced The Seattle Aquarium's newsletter, Sky and Telescope Magazine,
several ornithological publications, and is collected throughout the United States, Canada,
and the UK.
Recently, I won the People's Choice award in a 2009 photography competition and the winning entry has been included in book form.
